TOMMY BOLIN: Previously-Unreleased Material To See Light Of Day
August 11, 2002The late Tommy Bolin (ex-DEEP PURPLE guitarist),who died of a drug overdose in a Miami hotel room in December 1976, will reportedly have two brand new CD titles released via The Tommy Bolin Archives. These will be sourced from material obtained from the Glen Holly Studios, where Tommy Bolin worked on new songs for many months prior to recording his first solo album. After his death, the tapes were apparently kept by the studio owner and copies were not leaked, so none of this material has ever been heard before. It includes jams, as well as acoustic and electric demos. The first CD is likely to be titled The Glen Holly Jams, while the other will be a compilation called Naked Vol 2..
